Advanced Certificate in Conducting Workplace Investigations
Council designed this three-day event as a highly interactive program for professionals who have experience in conducting internal investigations. The three mock investigations will focus on critical strategies to unravel the most complex issues you confront in your workplace, complete with twists and turns and legal snares. By participating in these investigations you will enhance your ability to interview hostile or reluctant witnesses, practice analyzing documentary evidence, and ensure your reports will stand up in court.

In these three interactive sessions, you will walk through the following investigations:

arrow Employee antics lead to claims of hostile work environment, racial and sexual harassment, and potential workplace violence…
arrow A manager is accused of retaliating against a subordinate who accuses him of stealing company equipment…
arrow Performance problems raise red flags for possible substance abuse, as well as possible leave and disability dilemmas…
